Hi guys. I live in spain and I would like to move to portugal next year since I have recieved info about poker being tax free in PT.
Is that so? I did saw the law that seems to say that but I haven't found confirmation by anyone who actually has done so and knows.
How do you portuguese professionals declare and pay taxes? How much do you end up paying?

Hey there, infinito! Welcome to our forum! Winnings are, indeed, tax free. The government taxes the poker rooms through a % of rake. Be aware that there are only 3 regulated rooms in Portugal - Stars, 888 and Esconline (Aconcagua network). If you do decide to move here, best of luck and let us know so you can buy us a beer 😏💪🏻
