Task 1:

Pre-flop: Hero is BB with 8Heart
, 7Heart

MP2 raises, 4 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4,50 SB) THeart
, 9Club
, 4Diamond
(2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero?

Task 2:

Pre-flop: Hero is BB with ASpade
, 6Club

2 folds, CO raises, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4,50 SB) KSpade
, 9Heart
, 6Diamond
(2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero?

You do not know your opponent. Should you play passive or aggressive?

, 6Club

2 folds, CO raises, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4,50 SB) KSpade
, 9Heart
, 6Diamond
(2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3,25 BB) JHeart
(2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero?

This task is similar to task 2. We see a bad turn card after we check/call the flop. Your opponent bets again. What do you do?

Task 4:

Pre-flop: Hero is SB with ASpade
, QClub

4 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4,00 SB) 8Club
, 7Club
, 3Diamond
(2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3,00 BB) KHeart

Hero?

Your opponent is a thinking player, very aggressive and likes to semi-bluff.

Task 5:

Pre-flop: Hero is SB with ASpade
, KHeart

2 folds, CO raises, BU folds, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, CO calls.

Flop: (7,00 SB) AHeart
, 5Club
, 8Club
(2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (4,50 BB) 2Club
(2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (6,50 BB) KClub

Hero?

You may have top 2pair here, but the board contains four flush cards. Your opponent is a reasonable TAG with a WTS of 40. What do you do?

Task 6:

Pre-flop: Hero is MP3 with 4Club
, 4Diamond

MP2 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4,50 SB) QSpade
, 9Spade
, 9Club
(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4,25 BB) 6Club
(1 players)
BB bets, Hero?

You have made a rather loose open raise from MP3 with 44. Your opponent is a TAG and check raises you on the flop. You are making the call because of the draw heavy board and because you want to see the turn. The turn is a blank. Your opponent bets again. What do you do?

Task 7:

Pre-flop: Hero is SB with 8Heart
, 7Heart

4 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4,00 SB) JSpade
, 4Diamond
, 3Club
(2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3,00 BB) KClub

Hero?

After 200 hands your opponent has these statistics: 45/14/1.0/44

What do you do on the turn?

Task 8:

Pre-flop: Hero is SB with ASpade
, TSpade

4 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4,00 SB) AHeart
, 8Club
, 7Diamond
(2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3,00 BB) 9Club
(2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

River: (7,00 BB) 6Club

Hero?

Your opponent is a LAG.

Task 9:

Which of the three statements is wrong?

Statement 1:

Protection becomes more important in bigger pots, while in smaller pots bluffs are more important.

Statement
2:

A semi-bluff is not a value play, but it is no pure bluff either. It is just half of a bluff, because you have many outs to make the winning hand.

Statement 3:

When the equity is above average, it is always correct to play aggressive.

Task 10:

Pre-flop: Hero is BB with ASpade
, JHeart

4 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls.

Flop: (6,00 SB) AHeart
, 8Club
, 7Club
(2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (5,00 BB) 9Diamond
(1 players)
SB bets, Hero?

Your opponent check raises you, although you 3bet him pre-flop. The turn gives you a gut shot plus a mediocre kicker for that ace that you got on the flop. Your opponent bets the turn, how do you react?
