Improvements Made to World Poker Tour

The WPT will continue its comprehensive television coverage, with shows airing on FSN throughout the first quarter of 2012. That means more trademark commentary from Mike Sexton and his sidekick Vince Van Patten.

There will be two, one hour behind the scenes specials, featuring unique footage of Sexton, Van Patten, Tony Dunst and the Royal Flush Girls.

"Raw Deal" host Tony Dunst and his team will also provide fans with a live stream, live updates and hand analysis on the official WPT website.

Feel Like a Winner

The WPT is introducing a Champions Club, which encompasses VIP treatment and service for all past event winners.

All Season X winners will receive a small replica of the WPT Champions Cup - a 30 pound, 33 inch trophy made by the same company that makes the Emmy awards. This features all the names of past WPT event winners.

Victors will also receive a sterling silver Tiffany, customised engraved WPT card protector. Pros such as Tony G have questioned the integrity of the WSOP bracelet, so the WPT is offering players something with a more personal flavour. The WPT Player of the Year will take home a 35 pound, crystal trophy.

New Stops and Audience Interaction

Season X features several new stops, bringing the world's most prestigious poker circuit to your doorstep. New stops include Jacksonville Florida, Philadelphia, and in Europe, Paris, Prague, Malta and Ireland.

The WPT is enhancing its spectator experience. The Royal Flush Girls Social Bar features four monitors and an Xbox 360 Kinect. And, of course, the chance to chat with the beautiful ladies in person. Two new girls, models Mica Javier and Melissa Fisher, will be joining the glamorous bunch.

Season X of the WPT promises to encompass even more poker glitz, glamour and showbiz. Most importantly, European players will have a greater chance to compete and cement their names in poker folklore with the addition of several new stops.
