Fintan Hand streams SCOOP win....until a power cut happens

An insane moment for the PokerStars Pro when he won $200k and the title seconds before a power cut.

It is sage advice for all poker players that they have some back-up power and internet options when they are playing MTTs, and the same goes for streamers. 

Fintan Hand won his second career SCOOP title last night for over $200,000, which is one of the biggest scores anyone has ever captured on stream. 

Indeed, he was having a great time and the pressure was clearly not getting to him:

However, his sizeable audience did not get to see him close out the win because seconds after he won the final hand there was a power cut in Malta where he lives. His Twitch stream went down and as a result nobody got to see him win because of the stream delay. 

Also as a result he didn't even know the exact amount he had won until Twitter came to the rescue:

It was, of course, very unlucky not to capture his biggest ever win on stream, but incredibly lucky to have the power cut happen after the winning moment, not before.

As a result there was a surge in viewership on the main PokerStars stream, which Fintan called into afterwards to explain what happened:
