Jared Bleznick wins the first High Stakes Duel
Patrik Antonius loses $50k and immediately challenges Bleznick to a $100,000 rematch, next week on PokerGO.
The fan favourite High Stakes Duel series from PokerGO had an unusual twist last night, as it was half No Limit, half PLO.
The $50,000 match between Jared Bleznick and Patrik Antonius ended with Bleznick taking it down for $100,000.
The rematch has already been agreed and will see them double the stakes, with a $100,000 buy-in, to be aired next week, November 19 on PokerGO.

Eagle-eyed fans will have worked out this show has been pre-recorded, as Antonius is currently in Monte Carlo at the Triton series, where he won a career-best score of $5,130,000 last weekend. So at a minimum, we can say that this match with Bleznick did not break him financially.
The way the new format of High Stakes Duel works is that the loser of the match can challenge again, but if they forfeit, the winner can cash out without facing a new challenger.
