Lee Davy is a poker writer and life coach who works with people struggling with alcohol addictions.
He fell in love with poker after a trip to Las Vegas, and three years ago quit his 20-year job in the British Rail Industry, to try and make the grade as a professional poker player.
He sold the idea in a serial to Poker Pro Europe magazine, and shortly thereafter was asked by BLUFF Europe to write for them also. As the writing pay checks rolled in Lee wrote more and more, and played less and less.
Lee has worked as a live reporter at the Unibet Open, The World Series of Poker, The World Series of Poker Europe, The European Poker Tour, and is currently the Live Reporter for the non-American World Poker Tour events. He writes for numerous poker outlets, and in 2013 made the short list for the Poker Industry Person of the Year award at the European Poker Awards.
He is also a member of the Blue Ribbon Media Panel for the Poker Hall of Fame, and a member of the nomination panel for The British Poker Awards.
When Lee is not writing about poker he is helping people overcome addiction to alcohol at his website www.needyhelper.com.
