On the turn I don't really want to bluff and my hand is not strong enough for a valuebet either. When MP makes a delayed cbet I put him on either a weak Q, a T or a flushdraw. So I raised because I know he'll have to fold a lot of hands there. On the river, I instachecked planning to call a bet. When he shipped All In, I ended up folding based on a read I had. Without any reads, it would be a snapcall because his line is so often a bluff there. But I though this was quite a good player and he was looking really weak when he made the bluff. Therefore I was thinking he was trying to level me. Finally I was thinking that it was a decision for my tournament life and if I folded I would still have a 100k left and so I layed it down. I told him afterwards I had 9To and he told me I was ahead. I think in these live tournaments that I should think more straight forward and maybe I'm overestimating some of the players."
simon muenz macht sich wenigstens im gensatz zu spasstinho gedanken über sein hands... aber zu oft zu viele, genau wie du sagst solltest du nicht soviel rumfolden wenn du was hast und in einem pot bist.
tourneylife is for non in the long run if u fold this spots, du hattest 1 zu 3 odds... und es ist ja nicht so das du jetzt noch 7 stunden darauf warten kannst was zu setten drawen / draw zu barrel. wenn du mit 100k weiter spielst bist du in dieser phase in 75-100 händen im reshove oder sogar im pusg oder fold modus. und in den 75-100 hands passier im avg. nichts mehr.
deshalb lieber sagen ich habe two pair, ich habe pot odds zum callen von 1 zu 3, und ich bin kein nitty der auf 7000€ spielt...
natuerlich riecht die ganze sache etwas nach set oder JK auf der anderen seite... aber du hast eben two pair und die besagten pot odds und dannach folgt nicht das deepstack festival.
ehrlich gesagt finde ich den raise am turn nicht perfekt denn alles was besser ist und du -eventuell- zum folden bringst ist K10-a10-JJ ...
ich würde in dem fall den pot flach halten den nur um ihn von den drei händen zu bringen lohnt sich das raise nicht. das raise wäre auf jeden fall ok mit j9suited oder mit 87 suited.
aber second pair twowaypot... ist doch ok...
und in dem fall den turn nicht zu raisen, must du auch bedenken das du ihm viel devot gezeigt hast und dann kann man auch selbst wenn du nicht two pair am river machst "mal" callen.
