Pokernoob, who had checked OOP, was facing a huge bet from the button (about 18k). He thought very long and then made the call. Villain showed 66 and Pokernoob had to muck his hand.

He's down to about 20k.

Sounds pretty bad, maybe I made a mistake with the chip values or something but I'm afraid I got it right.

The first break is not until after 3 levels of play. I liked the fact that WSOPE had breaks after every level. Gave me a chance to talk to the players.

Players have to buy in at the Victoria Casino, who is a few blocks from here. Some players who arrive late don't know this and so they have to go there first.

Pokernoob lost another pot. I'm not sure about the preflop action but the pot was pretty big already and they were playing a 3way pot. Pokernoob was first to act and either donked or cbet about 4.2k.

Durrrr, probably the most notable player at his table, made it 12.2k to go and the other guy called. Pokernoob folded.

I must have misread the break thing, it's after level 2.

Haben die Pros untereinander nicht auch Edges gegeneinander? Die sind doch nicht alles gleich gut. Ich denke, dass es für manche auch profitabel ist wenn keine übelsten Fische dabei sind, oder gleicht sich da so stark aus, dass man nicht mehr von ernsthaften Edges reden kann?

Ist halt eine Chance auf den Riesen-Cash. Da werden die wenigsten (imo)Im)), wenn überhaupt, eine Edge haben um das Dingen wirklich +EV zu spielen.

Ich meine nicht, dass es ne chance auf nen riesencash ist, das hat ja nichts mit der edge der spieler gegeneinander zu tun, das Preisgeld für den 1. ist anteilsmaäßig auch nicht mehr als in nem 3$ Turnier mit gleichvielen Teilnehmern, nehmen wir einfach an, jeder Spieler hat 100 Buy ins und das Geld ist so wichtig wie in jedem anderen MTT auch.
Aber ist es echt so, dass sich die Edges so sehr verringern, dass die besten in diesem starken Feld nicht doch einen positiven EV haben?

Indeed he is playing. Some pictures of him and the others coming up, haven't seen his stack change drastically.

Pokernoob is back up to 20k again and he still seems very confident.
