Es gibt zwar den Rake auf Ipoker thread, aber ich wollte nicht, dass es untergeht und fand folgende Stellungnahme eines 2+2 Reps, der Teil der Rake negotiations mit Stars war, sehr interessant:
Rake in bb/100 is undeniably higher at PLO than NLH. This was my main point of attack during the discussions. After a lot of analyzing of the games and player groups, it was shown that people are still beating PLO at a higher bb/100 than NLH.
Cutting the rake to equal NLH would have cut a fairly ridiculous portion out of Star's bottom line, and it simply was impossible for me to argue for it after being shown undeniable proof that winrates are still higher than NLH and are in fact positive for the majority of players who play any kind of volume.
I personally see this as a result of preflop equities and players per flop. This results in almost an exactly double average pot size than NLH, which directly correlates to the double rake. However, the edge is also higher in these larger pots resulting in higher winrates.
Hinter diesem Hintergrund lässt sich natürlich verstehen, warum niemand ein Interesse daran hat die Rakestruktur beim PLO zu ändern...
