Just got in to the Rio.

Some updates from Day 2 of the $10k PL Hold'em event:

PokerNoob and Allanon have busted. There are not 94 players left. Blinds are at 800/1,600

BongBob has 105k chips and eleph has 24kchips

Nazgul is now playing in the $1,500 No Limit Hole'dm Shootout event.

He is down to heads-up against allinstevie and is now holding a huge chip lead.

He had guys like Isaac Baron, Andreas Hoivold and another Full Tilt Poker pro on his table too. Pretty sick table for a $1,500 tournament.

Nazgul busted Issac Baron when Baron had around 20bb left.

Baron raised and Nazgul defended the BB with 45s.

Flop 3 2 5, Baron shipped it with AA and Nazgul called with the backdoor flush draw, OESD and the pair. He hit another 5.

Thorsten77 and akia also played but have already busted.

innerpsycho is another PokerStrategist i saw. He is down to the final 3 players on his table.

As i posted the last update, Nazgul has already won his first shootout table. His next table will be played tomorrow.

Ayaz Mahmood just arrived. They changed the final table venue for today, there's something else going on at the usual TV table area. The railbirds will have to stand today.

This new table is actually right in front of where i usually seat. If you look at the third pic above, you can see a small laptop with the PokerStrategy.com logo right below Joe Hachem's banner.

btw, innerpsycho has also just won his shootout table.

Ayaz Mahmood opened to 70,000 from the button only to have Ernst Schmejkal three-bet to 210,000 from the big blind.

Mahmood made the call to see a {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop fall and Schmejkal fire out 175,000. Mahmood made the call, and when the {6-Diamonds} was checked to him on the turn, he fired out 500,000.

Schmejkal took his time before moving all in with Mahmood instantly calling.

With Schmejkal needing to catch a club - that also didn't pair the board - to prove victorious in this match, he would unfortunately see the {5-Hearts} land on the river to see him slip down to 1,470,000 as Mahmood climbs to 6,210,000 in chips.

From the button, Ernst Schmejkal made it 80,000. Ayaz Mahmood made the call and the two were off to the flop.

Flop: {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Mahmood check-called Schmejkal's bet of 80,000.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Mahmood checked again. Schmejkal fired out a bet and Mahmood moved all in. Schmejkal snap called, tabling {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flush.

Mahmood held {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and would need a heart on the river to end this tournament. It didn't come, instead, the {2-Diamonds} fell and Schmejkal doubled up.

The two are about even now.
