Hi,

I am living in south america at the moment

multiple times I tried to verify my account, but it seems there is no human working in that department. Just an AI or something repeating the same thing over and over and over.

I always get the email that the documents I sent (utility bill, bank statement are not VALID.

what does that mean?
there is my name and address, although sometimes the address is not labeled with the word Direccion (address)
and as the house has no number sometimes it is referred to with SN/sin numero (without number)

But what ever I try to communicate or explain it seems no one ever looks at it or reads it or even tries to understand what I am saying.
You get back a copy paste/standard email telling me "to provide another proof of address"

I have only a fibre optics internet utility in my name (for 5 years now) and cant get anything else.

Bank statements cost time AND money and are rejected as well.

Some month ago I moved to a new city and finally have bank statement and utility bill with somehow matching address (one has city and neighbourhood) the other one doesn't.
But it surely refers to the same address.

Totally lost now :(

I would normally recommend that you contact support@888poker.com and explain everything to them, but I suspect you've already done that.

Do you live alone? If so, there must be some official documents you can send.

Best of luck :gl:,

I sent the same documents I use on all poker sites, they are well known, have the same security restrictions and verification processes.
Just 888 refuses to accept anything and they don't even tell me what's wrong or missing on my papers.

I only get the same email again and again, which clearly looks like a machine or automated process sifts through them and just denies them.

Just got another email today asking for another utility bill (which I cant get as I only have internet in my name) or a bank statement.

I don't have a gazillion bank accounts and without knowing what's wrong with the one(s) I sent already it would be a waste of time and money to obtain new ones, which might immediately get rejected as well.

If you have moved, check that the data in 888 end matches the data in the bill. Address, name etc. And that there are no typos in 888 registration information.

Do they still have a working live chat you could use?

Sadly, the last time I tried, it was just a bot.
There is a way to leave a message though. It's certainly worth a try.

I have no idea which address from the last years in their records, so you want to tell me they want documents for an address which might be really old?
That would be really odd.
I don't remember when or if I verified 888 since in south america, but as verification is not mandatory in all platforms I play, I try to verify all when I move house. So if I forget one and they don't request verification one might slip through...

For now account is locked, bankroll (allthough for micro stakes) is seized and that sucks
Cant play, cant get the money, what a shame, I liked 888

The same issue here. Can't verify my account for over an year.
They accepted bank statement and drivers license. But something is wrong for them anyway. Don't know what else I can do. They are the worst nowadays

yes, the most frustrating thing is you have the impression there are no people working, just a broken program/computer.
Every other poker site has a support department which sends you an email explaining whats missing or wrong. Especially if english is not your native language things might me misunderstood on either side.

They took all kinds of deposits without questions but don´t you dare to cash out some...

For now I would strongly advise any player from south america: DON´T DEPOSIT LARGE AMOUNTS AND/OR PLAY ON 888 UNTIL YOU GET VERIFIED (how that will be possible is a mystery, but hey)

Does anyone have a support email for 888, not the verification chatbot...

Good advice for any player, from anywhere on any room at any time.

If you send email to: support@888poker.com it doesn't bounce at least (or at least it didn't when I last tried in February this year)

Has anyone any information how to reach support?
A shame that a poker site has no easily reachable support... is that on purpose nowadays? :f_zZz:
