BB ($50)
UTG ($101)

BTN ($103)

Dealt to Hero A♦ A♣

fold, fold, Hero raises to $3, fold, SB raises to $11, fold, Hero calls $8

FLOP ($23) 9♠ 5♦ 7♦

SB checks, Hero bets $13, SB raises to $29, Hero raises to $98.95 (AI), SB folds

Hero shows A♦ A♣

Hero wins $78

I think I should flat call his minR to represent TT,JJ,QQ.
I don't think he is taking this line with FD ( he would either Cbet,C/R AI or C/C).
So he might have himself TT,JJ,QQ or even AK.

By flatting his minR i give him a chance to fire the turn.

It's really hard to say what he has after checkraising because with something like JJ he doesn't want to give a freecard either.

But I like a call vs the checkraise in any case because we're going to stack almost all of the worse valuehands on the turn anyway, so we can only gain in case he has some kind of bluff.

Btw we don't even need to protect vs the FD too much because he is likely to get it in on any turn, improved or unimproved.

I disagree with you in the last paragraph. First, he bets so small in the c/r that wont fire again, unless improved on turn. He knows that Hero calls is a strong draw or made hand.

I guess what defines what line u should take is the read u have of ur opp.

Agro? Call on Flop. shove turn.
Passive? just shove flop.

If I just call he will more than likely put me on a draw (that I have the odds to call) so if no c on turn I expect him to fire again.

And I really don't see him C/minR with a draw.

As you said our line will also depends on how aggro he is but in general I think that as Phil said Call flop is better

Since he makes it so small we can call a very wide range even including TPs, weak draws like GS+BDFD or even some 2nd pairs.
So he should be very likely to follow through with drawsto get us to fold those.
