SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3

RIVER ($11) 7♣ 3♦ 4♥ 6♦ 4♦

SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB raises to $30, Hero?

villain: 21/17 (same as in the A4s hand)

I didn't relize 5x had the straight on the river when I played the hand so I guess it is too thin to bet the river for value here?

As played I am completely clueless. He should know that I never have a flush here, and in the last hand where I had A4s he showed up with AK, so he also knows that I know that he takes this line for value. But still there are probably a decent amount of 5x in his range, but then again my line looks a little bluffy...

What do you guys think?

thoughts on jamming as a bluff?

I don't see any reason why you can't have 34 46 74 44 33 77 66

He defo has way less of these combo's and we've already seen from the AK vs A4 hand that he is capable of raising thin for value?

I'm not sure how we can call as just too much stuff beats us, I don't think it's a ridiculous valuebet either (thin for sure) but decent imo, speshly vs a player who can get fancy.

**One Point** I think you'd do a little better if you started to plan your bets a little more, obv we all get into horrible spots every now and then where we're like "arrgh wtf do i do" but it seems to be happening a lot to you. I would advice before you bet having a real think about how you're going to react to a raise - if you think he's capable of spazzing, or bluffing etc. It'll make your life a lot easier and might cut a few of these spots out.

Jaming as a bluff would be pretty sick, but yeah I guess actually we can rep a lot as you say after all so might not be that bad of an idea. :)

But in conclussion do you like the valuebet and as played, given the history, would you go ahead and actually jam?

Good point about the betting thing. I think that it is actually a bad habit of mine that I, at times, tend to not plan my bets that much. Now that you say it I will definately try to think about it more in the future.
