4 folds, SB raises to $3, Hero calls $2

Flop: ($6) Q Q 8 (2 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $9, SB raises to $24, Hero raises to $39, SB folds

fold flop cbet to raise 29

Vs him flop raise is definitely the best play, he doesnt barrel turns too often, but he rarely folds to flop raises, and here I have lots of JT/T9/KJs/97s type of hands in my perceived range.

How would you proceed after he 3bets? If I call, I rep showdown value, so he could give up his bluffs, but I thought I can rep more air with a min4bet, and maybe he spews, and jams over something like A:dJ:d... But as I see I should have just clicked it back, this sizing is too large, could make me look committed.

i think both options are viable. You could also play your bluff hands like JT either way since you are IP and the 3bet from 9->24 isn't all that huge.
