NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($155)
BB ($43.50)
UTG ($189)
Hero ($241)
CO ($104)
BTN ($103)

Dealt to Hero 7♦ 7♠

UTG raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, fold, fold, fold, fold

FLOP ($8.50) 2♦ 7♣ 3♥

UTG bets $6, Hero calls $6

TURN ($20.50) 2♦ 7♣ 3♥ 5♣

UTG bets $12, Hero raises to $32, UTG calls $20

RIVER ($84.50) 2♦ 7♣ 3♥ 5♣ 4♥

UTG checks, Hero bets $45.50, UTG calls $45.50

villain is 21/17/4, went to showdown 31, 2.1 K hands. I know he does not believe me since I previously raised the turn with air and he called me down, including River shove, with 99. Earlier in the session today I check raised after turning trips and again he did not believe me, bluff shoving his 66s.

Although it would be easier to get stacks in by raising the flop, I thought raising the turn would be more effective against this player?

River is kind of ugly since I expect him to have AA some of the time. However I suppose he has QQ/KK [JJ] pretty often as well and so we have to bet for value?

thanks

Given your history with him I think call flop - raise turn is ok as line.
Still, you can consider raising the flop because he might just recall that you pulled off a huge bluff, not specifically that you were bluffing with a turnraise+rivershove.

On the river I think it's close, the valuebet is thin but ok imo.
Also your betsizing seems ok because the board is so scary and there are perhaps even some AK type hands in his range.

Nh imo!
