SB: $294.15 (147.1 bb)
Hero (BB): $203 (101.5 bb)
CO: $349.65 (174.8 bb)
BTN: $296.59 (148.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A Q
CO raises to $6, BTN folds, SB raises to $20, Hero raises to $44, CO raises to $68, Hero???

Villain (CO): 20/17
16% open CO (would not give this stat much credit tho, as his open UTG and MP are 19/17 respectively, 1.4k hands sample that is)

28% 4bet total (39)

(SB: 23/27, 7% total 3bet resteal)

Villain 4bets quite a lot in general from what I had gathered (just to give an indication of his prelfop ag). He perceives me as aggressive so he probably knows that I am capable of cold4bet bluff in this spot. I have also seen him pull off some big bluffs postflop (on one occasion he turned a TPTK into a bluff OTR and jamed into my bet).

From my experience though, these min5bets are rarely for value, when facing a cold 4bet. Still jamming seems very thin and optimistic, both players are a bit tight in general after all, even if both of them do view me as rather aggressive.

So what do we do? Call and just give up if we not hit a A/Q?

Hi

Given the info you provided I think his range could still be somewhat wide. But 7% resteal is extremely nitty and also this CO is nitty as well which should make SB's 3bet range stronger. I expect CO's opening range to be around 18-20% here, and maybe SB's restealing vs CO is something like 5-7%.

This is kind of tough. I have a slight preference for making a nitty fold. While your other reads do indicate the possibility of a wider range, I just feel like his range is just so strong in the first place due to his own tendencies, as well as CO being tighter than most.

Ok, think I am with you on folding. Ended up calling though. Flop came Qxx with a flushdraw if I recall correctly and I c/r jammed. He had AQo too :P
