Pc For Poker

All you need for poker and poker softwares like holdem manager is
-Quad core processor
-8gb ram
-simple dedicated graphics
-bigger SSD to store all the softwares you use daily

So the only thing i would consider in this 3 setups is to add more SSD drive. Atleast 60gb, maybe more. Only the OS will take alot of space. Then you need space for the programs you will run daily like holdem manager.

I'll be buying a new one shortly myself.

I will be getting:
Intel i7 processor (Haswell I think)
240 GB SSD drive for boot drive and databases (possibly smaller)
2nd drive (conventional) for everything that is not a database or OS
12 GB Ram -- may reduce this to 8 if $ become an issue.

I don't see what advantage i5 has over i7 unless it is price.

My current computer I got 8 yrs service out of, because I stretched a bit at the beginning.

Cost in $CAD will be 1K to 1.2K (I hope)

I dont have any experience neither. I7 is much better than this AMD.. AMD is around 170$ and i7 like 400$ ♦
I was said that Intel I5 is better than this AMD sixcore, altough it's much more expensive.
So I see it like this : Intel Core i5 4570 Haswell 3.6GHz, Intel Z87, RAM 8GB DDR3, AMD 270X 2GB, SSD 120GB, HDD 1000GB, DVD-RW... price is like 1400$ with screen and windows 7

I have a PC with very similar specs, will do everything poker related you require, as for games it will also be great, I play Battlefield 4 at 60fps on High settings (BF4 is one of the most demanding pc games around at the minute)

I ordered my new machine the day before yesterday.
It should be ready Saturday.
[Edit: It should be ready NOW dammit!]

I went with the i7 4770, as I tend to keep computers a long time.
(I got 8yrs out of my AMD XP box, and it is still going).
I went with only 8GB RAM, but I splurged and got a 250 GB SSD drive.

I intend to configure it so the SSD is the boot drive, and user data, except for user documents will be on a conventional disk.

Database on the SSD ofc
