Playing micro limits your win rate should be above 2 BB / 100. Playing higher stakes 1 BB / 100 is already good and everything above 2 BB / 100 is very good.

for real!? i always thought 2BB/100 should be standard on low limits such as .5/1 up to 3/6 for a winning player

That's why I play NL :) 2bb/hr is a GRIND! :P

lol, hear u...

though, if no limit i would prefer tournies i guess

btw. on low limits, lets say, u handle every decision u have to make mathematical perfect, u dont make ANY mistakes, how high would be ur winning rate over 60k hands, what could be the very highest mathematical possible BB/100? any math genius out there who could answere this? if at all...

Well... there's really no such thing as mathematically perfect, since game theory is at times not the optimal strategy. Game theory, if you remember, only works if your opponents are also practicing game theory. We all know at low limits, 9999/10000 opponents don't know what Game Theory even IS. If you went perfectly by the book, by the FToP, you could probably make 5bb/hr on the complete donks you find at low limit holdem.

David Sklansky does a good job explaining game theory in Theory of Poker.

If there would really any person, who could identify every little information he could get and make everytime the best action caused on that information, than i think it would be possible to make more than 10BB/100. But on the micro limits you dont have much information to handle. It is much more mathematic, so a plus in skill between a good real player and the perfect one wouldnt be this big, so like a good player the perfect player can expect between 5 and 10BB/100 on the micros.
