Taking all this into consideration, and knowing about how tough today's 2kNL games are, OP's skill is way beyond cts' and the likes![]()

you seem to be forgetting about one thing: sample size. heater != skill

hmm it didn't take cts 1 year to rise from NL200 to NL1000 it took him liek 2month, and 6month later he was at NL10K, maybe even NL60K and these games were never soft imo, pre or post legislation.
it can't be just a heater that made jordgubban go from 50$ to regularly playing NL1K in 2 or 3 month without a HUD, this is just impossible. No one can have such a heater :(. So he is filthy good get over it.

>_< you don't have to be bad to have a heater, you can play moderately well and run super-hot
hova you could be fucking johnny chan, stoxtrader, thebryce, wishmaster, korn, every german TAG to have lived rolled into one, and still be unable to go from 50$->~XXK in less than 2 months, the fact is he MUST BE on an INSANE heater the likes of which I've never seen in my entire poker career (i'm talking jamie gold @ WSOP style). My question is what limits did he play in the "year or so" before receiving the 50$ starting capital, NL1000?
No one can climb from NL2->2K in less than 2 months unless you having amazing luck.
And gudal, the reason why you don't need stats is you play 2 tables, they don't dictate your course of play, they influence it in marginal situations and are quite necessary to obtain correct PF handranges etc. when it's profitable to 3-bet etc. also to identify quickly and easily TAGs & LP fishes, if you're playing 6+ tables you don't have time to watch each and every player move when you're waiting your turn, and have to turn to stats for possible tendencies and such.
The fact jord doesn't play with stats is interesting because to rise so fast in addition to an insane heater he'd need to play many tables as well (apparently without stats) so this puzzles me also.
Here's a proposition, DL elephant jordgubban, import the handhistories, post your stats, and don't say "uhh....I don't have ...handhistories...erm..."
For me this whole thread is bullshit. What does the threadstarter expect? He says, that he was more successful in 2 month than all other known genius internet poker carreers. Of course, every reader of this thread will just hail him like a god... -.-
Jordgubban, what do you expect, the people to do? You cannot provide stats, no graphs, no handhistories, you are not able to run a fucking poker tracker software, you cannot tell, how you did it (yeah, you said, you played HU and a tournament, but pls provide more details, how did you reach the bankroll for playing 100$ tournaments..., the people need to judge for themselves, if you are just a big luckbox or a real skilled player - if you want to be a motivation for grinding). It's the same, if a mathematician would come along in a mathematics forum and would say "I proofed the unsolved problem", of course everybody would demand the proof, how he did it. If he will not provide, he makes himself ridiculous.
It absolutely makes no sense to make such a statement in a forum.
Reverand221 -> Does it matter if he's insanely lucky, or insanely good? This is a forum to show off your successes, and that's what he has done. He doesn't have to proof anything to anyone, unless he feels like it. If you're actually interested in his play, and not just flaming because you have something up your a**, go watch him.
Why does people on PS think that a verbal attack on the author is the way to go, when they read something they don't like/believe?
i think its possible to do that , NeillyAA went from $10 ors something like that to nl1000 hu in under 1 month and they he lost all his money and he did this many times over and over again he is using like 5bi brm ♦ (everything its possible )

I found the time to watch this guy play.
It was on 6 tables and he played very patient waiting for the nuts + he made some very good calls.
Think he was on 5 tables x3 max stacked and made something close to 5k in 30 or so minutes.
So...Why not?
My friend was even sicker, that's how I started this nonsence : P
He went up 100k e so I really think it's not science fiction. He plays loose-aggresive game and I must admit that he's insane. It makes me sick when I watch those games.
Bust 'em up m8

I have never made any statement in this forum that i'm some sort of poker god.
I have posted my success and i did not start this thread so that people could flame me for not posting any stats. If anyone here is ridiculous it would be you for making a post like that.

thats the point >brm<, i could sit down at nl1000 table right now, but its not wise to do, just because i have 1 or 2 BI... You cannot speak of playing on nl1000, if you have barely the money to sit down at such a table.
Reverand221 -> Does it matter if he's insanely lucky, or insanely good? (...)
if you understand this subforum as a shoutbox, just shouting out some numbers to the community, ok, then the whole subforum may be bullshit IMO. And if someone thinks, the community should know about his success, why not giving some details, too, if one is asked?
Why does people on PS think that a verbal attack on the author is the way to go, when they read something they don't like/believe?
that's right, some words were not kind. im sorry, if this was taken personally.
i stick to my question, what did the threadstarter expect, when he started this thread? he wanted to show his success, to motivate others. so, it's natural, that one starts to doubt if it is true, if he cannot proof his success.
*edit* didnt see, that you already answered, but last question is still unanswered.
why all the hate? If he is bad, then go play against him rather than flaming...anyway, gratz OP, but make sure to use a very conservative BRM at the higher limits since variance tends to be very big up there
Hey, what's your username on Poker Stars? Is it jordgubban? I've been trying to find you playing so I can watch, but I haven't managed to find you at the tables yet

Me regularly playing 1k nl on full tilt is a proof? People saying they've seen me multi-tabling 1k nl is a proof?
And to people saying i should get a tracker, i can't get Elephant to work. I have tried it many times. But if anyone is willing to try and guide me through it i will try it.
Brian i usually play at full tilt using the screenname Viktor Jensen.
I don't play at pokerstars as much but if i do my name is Jordgubban.
download poker tracker, its better anyways:
http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT3/download.php
its a 60 day free trial, so don't worry about the payment thing
no you should buy holdem manager its the best software, it s very stable whereas I have seen multiple posts complaining about PT3's crashes or bugs.
www.holdemmanager.net. Easy peasy to install, very fast. (fyi I tried to install elephant and didn't succeed either, but I ahd no problems with HEM)
to all people questioning his talent(terrorblade,reverand221), I have stats on jordgubban (datamined his tables) and here they are (I agree that the sample size is small, but they should give a general idea about how he plays anyway, he can't be that bad with these stats):
so yeah he might have had a somewhat sick heater at the start or at some point of his poker career and maybe didn't always follow a strict brm, but he also probably is very good and it seems it has all worked out for him.
you would be amazed at how quick you can earn some easy money by 6-tabling fish HU, its way easier than moving up at 6-max, because if you are alone with 5 fish there is too much variance, and if you're not the only one to have a clue at the table, well that's less variance but tougher competition.
For those who are interested we have made a short interview with OP which you can find here: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/content/From-5-to-1k-An-Interview-with-Our-Diamond-Member-jordgubban_06969
@jordgubban: If you describe what the problem with Elephant seems to be - we might be able to help. If not I also heard good thing about HEM. Either way good luck in your further progress.
Best regards,
