He was going for value. It was impossible for you to have a low with your exposed cards, and his straight was fairly well hidden. He knew that he had half the pot already locked up, and if your visible trips had been all you had, he could have lured you into calling what seems to be a lo only hand and then scoop with the straight and lo.

Sure, you could have easily had something better than trips (as you did) and losing to rake hurts, but with the guaranteed lo pot, it was still a freeroll for your opponent.

Note that he didn't get his lo until 7th street, and he was playing passively until then.

Something similar from PokerStars normal PLO5 yesterday.

I followed few rounds how those 2 genial plaeyrs where all-in on every hand with max 2 pairs and I had folded best hand preflop or flop.

Idiotic maniac on CO opens with pot, another on BU 3bet and I just can't fold that kind of hand so I cold called. Almost perfect hit on flop, CO check and fold, BU bets half pot, I called. On turn I bet 1/3 and BU shove.

Few rounds later nice AI bluff from same grazy guy who was Villain 1 in first picture. I checked river, villain shove and stupid fish like me couldn't fold.

At least in GGpoker both have to use both hole cards

To hit the Bad Beat Jackpot, you need to satisfy the following conditions:

Hand must go to showdown.
Both the winner and the loser must use both hole cards (two hole cards for PLO/PLO-5) to make the best 5 card hand combination.
Pocket pairs are required for winner/loser’s four of a kinds.

Hit straight flush in river, overbet and villain shoves, easy money right? Nop, villain had the higher straight flush, snap reminder to not play this kind of hands and river bets and raises are always the nuts in micros
