Misclick Equity!
I meant to fold this, but when I came back to the table I was all-in.
I still don't know exactly what I did, but in any case...
This was an 8-player double-or-nothing, so basically this one hand won the tournament for me.

I learned something new in last days: just log off,... seriously do not try just log off.

Russian calling station fishes calling on everything, hitting everything like candy. I have never seen so many runner flushes and straights in my life. You flop set, nope...runner runner straight. You flop two pair, nope... runner flush... You flop top pair with strong kicker, NOPE... calling station is calling on every street until he hits his second pair... etc...

Its just constant action inducing boards. I lost half of my bankroll on pure garbage never ending runners.

Blah....

p.s.: oh i forgot those moments of happiness when you see you are holding dominating hand... until..... it goes to shit on turn or river.

Use the force, young JediMaster

I'm not mocking your pain, we all feel it.

Why not post one of those hands?

Yesterday on the FT bubble, holding 2nd shortest stack, I shove 44 in the SB. BB had KK.
So it goes.

All the best,
VS

5 minutes ago, 10,50$ shoot out - 5$ bounty. Honestly i am completely speechless. Completely asinine call, which in real poker would get him bankrupt in a second. Seriously, guy pays 10,50$ tourney and then calls all in five bet for most of his chips with 8 fckin 6.... - blind levels are 25 - 50. How can a guy make a decent money if such hands are constantly beaten by complete and utter shit players.

This is not a legit game, it cannot be

Why the fck would you 4 -bet with such minimal raise and then call on 5 bet shove with 86 off, while 25/50 blinds??????????

And he hits a fckin set while being completely and utterly dominated. :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

Here is a wonderful hand from a Double-or-Nothing

In this hand, the player in 2nd place calls an all-in for no apparent reason on the bubble.
He loses, which let me -- who had the absolute worst table position -- win without even playing. In this situation, the two huge stacks are risk-averse against each other, and the 3 smaller ones are in a folding war. The two big guys should keep the pressure on the little ones, and leave each other alone. Easy game.

Ooops...

Side note:
Here is what Holdem Resources Calculator says about the hand.
In short, BU should shove any two. This might be true Nash Equilibrium, but these guys aren't playing Nash.
Note two things: BU did not shove -- he limped.
Also, it says in HRC that I too should shove any two. Not on your nelly! When SB is calling way too wide, shoving way too wide is suicide

Enjoy!

Here's a cool hand from a Double-or-Nothing.
Overcalling the shove with AA is within the nash limits -- the SB's call w/ 55 is "wrong" according to nash in this situation, but in fairness, if he thinks CO is opening wide (he always is) he might figure it is worth a go. CO's AJo is also within nash limits.

Even though my overcall might be ok, it crippled me, and I nearly finished out of the money.
Pocket 8s on the next hand put me back in.

Unknown, but by raise sizing we can say its likely a fish.
On turn I think the bet is not good, because nothing better folds, there are many draws. Even when we have good draw. We also want to keep his Qx, weaker Ax. So only what could fold is 22.

On river only straight flush draw beats me, but I think very often he might have weaker flush so shove.

was scared to call flop, and was ready to give up turn, but this time I got lucky :)
tight preflop does not mean that he is tight post flop :)
maybe he does that because everyone folds, because of his strong range.

Yeah, there are those who like to enter pots, then go all aggro-monkey post flop whether they have hands or not.
They build big stacks, then lose 'em, then build big stacks then lose 'em etc.
