for the last 2 weeks, every time i flop a set, someone else turns a bigger set or a flush
if i flop the stone cold nuts, i win a 30 cent pot (i play NL 0.10 / 0.20)

not to mention the donks i keep running into who are constantly raising me with 5 :spade:2  out of position and they turn their hand from bottom pair on the flop to quads on the river after they shoved on the flop i called with top set! (just an example of a really really really really REALLY bad beat)

and it's not that i play bad

i got my $50 and played accordingly to the SSS so i got to $200 in a week with a solid bankroll management. I played SSS perfectly!

and then disaster struck!

for two F&*%ing weeks i just can't stop loosing! Full tilt poker has the most retarded software. In 80% of the big pots i lose i am something like 3:1 favorite on the flop !!!!!

If i play AA or KK aggressively i dont get paid off
If i slowplay some retard turns a set or a flush
if i play tight i rarely hit a good flop and dont get paid off
if i play loose i run into Kings of course!

I am always ahead on the flop and some fish calls me with like 6 high, turns bottom pair and rivers trips!! IT IS A F$#%ing nightmare! i am down to $14 after i repeatedly dropped down in limits!

I took a break for 3 days and today my head was about to explode! how can i flop trips and then someone else turns or rivers a bigger three-of-a-kind 5 FUCKING TIMES IN A ROW??@#!!@!@ _cry: _mad:

I have been on tilt before when playing live poker but have managed to control myself and play my A game in order to win! BUT now i want to F3$@#ing kill someone!!

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!

Try to deposit some money. You will usually win for a couple of days initially when you have deposited. Then withdraw and redeposit. Repeat as many times as you like.

try moving up in limits so they respect your raises more ;)

just to add, for further effectiveness, the subsequent deposits have to be larger than than the previous withdrawal amount. can't believe he forgot this condition

You're not alone my friend..... same thing here. When your AA get cracked by 42, when your KK, QQ and JJ always go against AA, when every pot you know you are in front ends up in split pots, is time to stop :)

im with you there.....im playibg nl50 on full tilt at the minute and last week was up $850.....until the same thing happened that always seems to happen....i hit a run of about 3/4 days where i get coolered religiously and constantly miss flops against complete fish calling 3 bets with nothing.....down to only $350 profit now so still up and gotta just hope the bad trend doesnt continue and i can start winning again because i wana work up to nl100!

Yup, poker is rigged, it gives you a nice start and then it keeps giving you bad beats to make you lose all the money and deposit again, only for them to make profit!

No, but seriously now, i feel just as you feel. I started playing again 3 weeks ago with ~11$ won from a freeroll and got it to 70$ in 2-3 days. I was flopping sets one day when i won the most like 5/10 times, was getting AA vs AK/KK/QQ, when i was behind with a flush draw most of the times i was saved by the river etc. After that, in 10k+ hands i successfully brough my bankroll down to 25$ after a few beats and getting loose because sometimes if I wait 1h on 4 tables only to lose/not get paid with any good hand, I just can't help it.

Just had to whine a bit here as i feel it puts me off tilt :P. _mad:

Anyways, how do you stop doing mistakes you know you do like getting loose if there's no action, playing flops where you know 100% you are beat. How do you get more disciplined?

The power of positive thinking. If you need to take a break and come back with positive attitude. Emotions in poker can play a much bigger part than people think.

I don't think the 2+2ish sarcastic replies is what OP was looking for. I hope that some serious coach can help him here.

People: No Spam in the Downswing Support Board!
"Please abide by this rule. This sub-board is the only one that makes absolute seriousness necessary. If you make jokes here, you taunt anyone who comes here with real problems. So no Jokes, Spam & Mockery will be tolerated here! "

I have experienced similar events at the tables lately. I usually take a break. I think I may try the deposit. Seeing how I think the opposite is true...it might help. I get better results on sites where I am not being tracked. Seems I have to play hide and seek with a site in order to battle through these downturns. Lately I've been beat every way possible with very solid hands and I am sure a few new ways as well. All I can do now is suck it up, keep on keeping on, and hope it all turns around sooner rather than later. As far as the fact that lucky winners lose in the long run and we will win in the long term helps me see the bigger picture. Only this doesn't really help to get my head around them laughing their ass off at me.

Oh, Maya, 3 rounds of the table is what I usually use. If nothing happens or experience a suck out, I book it!

In all seriousness,
You have 3 posts. You haven't really posted any hands, your only posts are at downswing reports. So we don't really know if your downswing is bad play or bad luck.

I guess take some time off like suggested above and then start working on your game after you have cooled off, ofcourse take above suggestions on cooling off!
