not to mention the donks i keep running into who are constantly raising me with 5♠ 2♥ out of position and they turn their hand from bottom pair on the flop to quads on the river after they shoved on the flop i called with top set! (just an example of a really really really really REALLY bad beat)

Downswings are pretty standard in poker regardless of your technical abilities. However, you need to develop patience, calm and discipline to be able to endure them, which is something you appear to lack judging by the above; this is something I recommend working on.
