20th level of blinds kicks off

45 players has just returned to their tables and the game resumes with blinds 6000 / 12,000 ante 1000.

Just before the break Operga lost a half of his stack when he hit combo draw on flop. Unfortunately his opponent has the straight already and the same flush draw.

Dominik has got some back from Leo Fernandez and his now sitting with about 600 000.

Dominik is a millionaire!

Dominik has just scooped a massive pot and has built his stack to 1,100,000! UTG player opened with a raise to 25,000 and UTG+1 flatted. Action folded around to Dominik on the big blind and he decided to protect his money with J:d T:d. Then flop came J:h 6:h 5:s. Two checks and player on UTG+1 made 49,000 to go. Dominik called and original aggressor went away. The turn was 3:d and Dominik played check and then called second barrel for 96,000. When a five no heart hit the river, PokerStrategist knocked once again and opponent set up the very high price for showdown, it was 270 000. However, Dominik has perfect read and snap called to see A:h 9:h with busted flush draw.

Operga doubled his stack up!

Another good news, Lari clashed with the initial chipleader Bryn Kelley and doubled his stack up. That was simple line preflop in blind war. Kelley raised from the small blind with pocket 5-5 and Operga shoved for over 200 000 with A:s 8:c. Kelley snap called and after camera crew come to the table the we could watch that coin flip. Board A:h K:h Q:d 4:h J:s left nothing to say and Operga scooped the pot to double up!

Giuseppe has doubled up again!

Boys and girls I have great news for you. Giuseppe has just doubled up his stack to 680,000. Action folded to the button player, who made an open raise with A:s J:d. Giuseppe from the big blind put a 3-bet and after some tanking opponent decided to go all-in. Giuseppe snap called with A:c K:c to see his domination. Low board 9:s 6:c T:h 3:h 4:s changed nothing and Giuseppe scooped a massive pot to double up!

Dominik lost a massive pot

Up and down, up and down – let's hope Dominik won't get sea sick. He lost a massive pot without showdown and he doesn't want to speak about it now, but he dropped to 750,000.

20th level is done and now players are going on 15 minutes break. 39 players are still remaining in the game and we have go down to 24 to reach the end of the day.

Side event for €1100 has started and we have few PokerStrategists in there. I saw Team PokerStrategy.com member Thorsten and other members of community include Akia and HenrikX as well – all of them are still in the game. I will report you when something spectacular will happen.

Tournament is running with blinds 8000 / 16 000 ante 2000 on 21st level. Game has slowed down and still 39 players are sitting by 5 tables. The average stack is now 583,077, which means almost 36,5 BB.

Tournament director has just announced that there is no official dinner break but there is a dinner. Long break was previously planned at 7:00 PM. That's why I'm going to eat something right now and I'll be back soon to keep you update.

Giuseppe opened from the cut off 35,000, Marius decided to re-raise him to something around 82,000 and Giuseppe shoved all-in for 407 000. Marius snap called with Kings making the pot worth much over 800,000. Giuseppe had A-Qs. On flop We saw J-Q-Q, turn was 8, river J and Marius has been crippled to 75,000.

After that he shoved all-in and everyone folds. One round more and Marius meet the big blind. Action folded around to Giuseppe and he shoved from the small blind. Marius had to call for his last 5 BB with J-9 and Giuseppe showed A-Q again. Nothing happened on board and Marius hit the rail.

Changes, changes, changes

So much has happened when I was on the dinner break. 31 player left in the tournament and they are sitting at 4 tables. There is no more TV table after Roberto Romanello hit the rails as well as Argentinian Team PokerStars Pro Leo Fernandez. Former chipleader Bryn Kelley's busted also and Roman Makhlin, which has second stack in the beginning of day 3 dropped to 700 000.

I guess, Giuseppe is currently the leader after action with Marius, who is no more in there.

We are back again. Tournament has just resumed with blinds 10,000 / 20,000 ante 2000. Only 30 players left in there and after 6 more will hit the rails, the 3rd day of playing will come to the end.

Suckout of the tournament – made by Giuseppe

It seams Giuseppe is on God mode right now. After a raise from the middle, he made a 3-bet with K:d 6:d from the button. Then shortstacked player shoved his entire stack in the middle of the table. Original aggressor folded but Giuseppe was pot committed and had to call. Shortstack player showed pocket 9:c 9:s, which means that Giuseppe was dominated. On flop we saw 5:h 3:h 9:h and opponent hit his set. Giuseppe needed a miracle to make the field thinner. And here it come: when we saw 7:s on the turn, Giuseppe had a double belly to finish the short. Then the dealer showed us 4:h in the river and it's done. After this hand Giuseppe has over 1,300,000

Giuseppe vs Kristoffer Thorsson
Giuseppe have found a new opponent by the table - Kristoffer Thorsson. Both of them clashed several times in small pots and two times they fought for many chips.

First, on flop 3:h 8:d 9:s Thorsson, who was a preflop aggressor made a continuation bet for 65,000 and Giuseppe called. On the turn we saw A:c – Thorsson made 130,000 to go and Giuseppe made another call. The river card was 2:c and we saw preflop aggressor making another bet for 230,000 this time. Giuseppe called him down and after Thorsson showed A:h 4:h, mucked his hand.

After that hand Giuseppe dropped to 880,000 and Thorsson was up to 1,300,000.

After some time both players clashed again and generated a massive pot. Thorsson opened and Giuseppe 3-bet him. After some tanking, Swedish player decided to push all-in with A-T and Giuseppe snap called with pocket Kings. Board changed nothing and in this way Giuseppe is up to over 1,600,000 and Thorsson is down to 280,000.

It is done. Thomas James Finneran is the player which finished on 25th place. Now we are down to 24 players which have made through the day and will come back tomorrow to fight for the final table.

It seams Giuseppe Pantaelo is currently the leader with around 1,700,000, but we have to wait for the official chipcount to be sure about it because Alessandro Longobardi has the similar stack as PokerStrategy.com member.

Operga and Dominik Nitsche have made through the day and will return tomorrow to fight for the 2010 PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona Final Table.

Now we are sure who is the massive chipleader. Giuseppe is the one who made day 3 concluded. He has eliminated Finneran from the tournament and built his stack to huge 2,300,000.

In the very last hand of the 3rd day, Giuseppe opened with A:d 8:s and on Finneran 3-bet all-in for around 400,000. After some tanking Giuseppe made call and Finneran showed A:c 7:h. That was pretty close to split, but we should remember that Giuseppe was on God mode through the day. Flop came 6:c T:s 5:c and eight was good. When board paired on the turn because of 5:s it was a split but the 8:h on the river gave Giuseppe two pairs and Finneran was out of the tournament.

Welcome back from the Gran Casino where the PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona is running. 4th day of playing is ready to start. 24 players left and today we will know the final table set.

Yesterday Giuseppe Pantaelo was on God mode and he's starting as a massive chipleader with over 2,300,000 in chips. We have 2 more PokerStrategy.com members in the field. Finnish coach Operga was running pretty well during the day and he was close a average stack but at the and of the day he lost a half of his chips and now is starting from a short position. Dominik Nitsche is still alive as well and he is on short as well.

Now we have 23rd level of blinds 12,000 / 24,000 with 2000 ante. Average stack is 947,500.

Shuffle up and deal!

It seams we have some delay and cards are not in the air yet but we are waiting for it. Giuseppe and Dominik are sitting at the TV table and unfortunately a press can't stay there but I've sneaked in and took some shots I'll add pictures soon but I have a big problem because the card reader in my laptop doesn't work and I don't really know what has happened.
