Marius scooped with Kings

Marius clashed with Team PokerStars Pro member Ruben Visser. He raised from UTG to 14 000 and Ruben was the one who called. Flop K-J-X was very nice to Marius and he continued for a half of the pot. Turn was a 9 and Marius thought, he could induce some bluff from Team PokerStars Pro member. He checked and unfortunately Vissen checked behind. On the river very bad card hit the board – it was Q. Marius checked and then he has to call very nasty bet from Visser, who made 35 000 to show his cards. Marius didn't like that call but he has to and Ruben showed only a Jack!

Marius: 190 000.

Blinds up!

We have some problems with an internet access again and I was offline for over 20 minutes.

17th level of blinds come to the end and players was on short 15 minutes break. Now game resumes at 18th level 4000 / 8000 and ante 500.

77 players remain in the tournament. All PokerStrategy.com members are doing well, but Giuseppe which dropped to 350 000. He looks angry and doesn't want to talk about what has happened. I will wait until he is cool.

Giuseppe Pantaleo is down to 350,000 after doubling up Team PokerStars Pro Leo Fernandez.

Pantaleo opened for 17,000 in the hijack and faced a reraise from Fernandez in the cutoff. Pantaleo went all in to cover Fernandez who after a while in the tank called all in, and they weer on their backs.

Marius kicks the shortstack out of the tournament!

Good news boys and girls. Marius Pospiech has just kicked out a shortstack player out of the tournament. I caught the action on the river where all chips were in the middle of the table. I think it was on blind war. Short pushed with 8:s 7:s and Marius called with A:s J:h. Board A:d J:c K:s J:s T:h left nothing to say and Marius is now up to almost 200 000.

Dominik lost with Kings

That was simple standard situation. Short pushed his stack 82 000 into the middle of the table with A:d K:c and Dominik flatted him with pocket K:s K:d. On flop we saw 6:h T:h A:h and Dominik had 1 out left in the deck. Turn was T:c, river 3:d and shortstacked player doubled up. But don't worry about Dominik at all, he has healthy stack over 750 000.

Side event

HenrikX is no more in the side event but Dalcon is still alive. He is on short and 17 players left but he has chipleader Michael Tureniec by his table and things don't look good him.

18th level of blinds come to the end and now players are on 15 minutes break.

Blinds up!

The break is over and players are back at their tables. Blinds are on 19th level 5000 / 10 000 ante 5000.

At this time we have two huge chipleaders. Marco Bognanni has won a massive pot before the break with K:h K:c. He got the action from Haykel Vidal who had pocket aces A:c A:s. Unfortunately for rockets, K:s hit the flop and Marco scooped a massive pot which built him up to 1 300 000.

Second leader is a Russian player Roman Makhlin which has started 3rd day of playing from second position. He's up now to 1,100,000 – 1,200,000.

Operga picked up a very nice pot without a showdown.

After UTG+1 player raised, Lari called from the cut off to see 9:d 7:h 8:c on flop. Opponent continued aggression with bet and Operga called. When 8:h hit the turn, opponent fired a second barrel for 40 000 or something. After 30 seconds of tanking Lari decided to push his entire stack in the middle of the table and he had opponent covered. Villian went into the deep tank. Finally folded his hand and Operga scooped a very nice pot which move him up to 509 000.

The Jan's seat is empty, he has to be busted when I've been posting previous news. I don't know what has happened but I will find it out and report to you as soon as possible.

Jan had only 17 BB and pushed his entire stack in the middle of the table with K:c J:s, got called by the player from the big blind which showed Q:d T:h. Unfortunately ten hit the board 2:s T:s 2:h 9:h 2:d and it sent Jan to the rail.

After short tanking opponent made a call and showed pocket nines. Unfortunately board brought no help to Giuseppe and he lost 500,000 pot.

Giuseppe doubles up his stack!

Good news at last, Giuseppe has just doubled up his stack and he is back on track. He pushed from the cut off or button for little over 100,000 with A:d J:c and got the action from the player from the blind which showed dominated K:h J:h. When flop came 9:d 5:d Q:d, Giuseppe got a nut flush draw and made one out dead to his opponent. When 8:d hit the turn, rival was drawing dead and showing 8:h one the river was a mere formality.

Dalcon is no more alive in the side event.

Marius doubled up!

Another great news! Marius Pospiech has just doubled up his stack. He raised from the cut off to 22 000 with T-8 off and found the action from Team PokerStars Pro member Matthias de Meulder from the big blind. Then dream flop 6-7-9 came and Marius hit the nuts. Pro donks then for 29 000 and Marius decided to call. When a King came on the turn, Matthias checked to Marius, who made 65 000 to go. Belgian called and Q has been showd on the last street. Matthias knocked the table once again and after some tanking Marius went all-in. Team Pro finally called with a King, but had no chances against the nuts.

Marius is now up to 520,000!

The 19th level of blinds is over. Players are now on 15 minutes break. Stay tuned, we will be back in next few minutes.
