CuCbKu is out of the tournament.

Last Team PokerStrategy.com member is out from the tournament. That was a nasty cooler in the very next hand after he lost much with a straight vs flush. Action folded to the button player and he made a raise to steal the blinds. CuCbKu put a 3-bet from small blind and after big blind folded, button made a 4-bet. CuCbKu didn't think much and shoved his entire stack in the middle of the table with A-K. Opponent snap called and showed pocket rockets A-A. Nothing happened on board and in this way CuCbKu is out of the tournament.

Dominik is on hot run!

Dominik is now in top 5 of the tournament with stack over 500 000 after he won a massive pot worth 300 000 and next he eliminated Team PokerStars Pro member Andre Akkari from the tournament.

First it was a clear cooler. Dominik woke up with kings against aces. All-ins were made on preflop and Dominik was in trouble. Everything changed on flop where king came and with a set Dominik won a massive 300 000 pot, which biult him to over 400 000.
After that action folded to Andre Akkari on the small blind and he shipped all-in with K:s 2:c. Dominik has a history with this player 3-betting him 3 times in a row and each time Andre folded. Now it was the time to call the pro – Dominik made it with A:s 9:c. On flop J:h 3:d A:h he hit top pair and in fact, Akkari needed a miracle to stay in the tournament. When 5:d hit the turn, Andre got gutshot straight draw, but the 8:d on the river changed nothing and Team PokerStars Pro has been sent to the rail.

The 15th level of blinds come to the end and 128 players left in the tournament. The tournament director made his decision – we will play one more level today, but until bubble bursts we cant stay in the tournament area anymore because of suspicion of cheating.

After bubble bursts, day 2 of the PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona come to the end. 112 players left and they will have their share in €3,790,000 prize pool. Everyone has guaranteed €7,500 but everyone wants the massive €850,000 for the first prize.

The tournament is dominated by PokerStars.com qualifiers which took four first places by now. American player Bryn Kenney is current chipleader with 693 000 and he is followed by Roman Makhlin from Russia (643 000) and PokerStrategist from Germany Giuseppe Pantaleo (622 000). Another PokerStrategy.com member is on the 4th place. Dominic Nitsche was the chipleader just before the end of the day, but he couldn't hold the lead on the bubble and today will start with 585 000.

We have 3 more PokerStrategists still alive in the tournament. Finish coach Lari 'Operga' Shivo (19th place) is the best of them and will start today with healthy 333 500 in his stack. Jan Collado is in the middle of the list and he will attack the leaders from 60th place with 149 000. Marius Pospiech is the last one and he needs to double his stack (79 500) up if he really thinks about making through the 3rd day of playing.

Some big names are still in the game include Full Tilt Pros Roberto Romanello from UK (372 500) and 2001 WSOP Main Event Champion Carlos Mortensen (101 500) from Spain. Next, Leo Margets from Spain (174 000) and Team PokerStars Pro members: Leo Fernandez (186 500), Ruben Visser (116 500), Alex Gomes (93 000) and Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier (63 000).

'ElkY' was running very well yesterday but he lost most of his stack just before the bubble time. He checked / called the 27 000 bet on flop 4:h 8:d 2:c and then check / check Q:s on the turn and at last French pro decided to call 50 000 on the river where 6:h came. Opponent shoved pocket K:c K:h and ElkY mucked. After this hand he has 140 000 left in his stack. In bubble time he lost another 70 000 and now is one of the shorstacked players.

Welcome back from the Gran Casino where the 3rd day of the PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona is ready to start. Bubble bursts yesterday and now we have 112 players which will share the massive €3,790,000 prize pool. Today the game will be running until 24 players stay in the tournament.

To the end of 16th level of blinds left just a few minutes and the tournament director decided what we will start at the 17th level of blinds 3000 / 6000 ante 500.

Among the 2nd day survivals we have 5 PokerStrategy.com members. Three of them Giuseppe Pantaleo, Dominic Nitscheand Finish coach Lari 'Operga' Shivo are in top 20 and this promise well.

We have some delay, tournament should resume at the noon, but cards are still not in the air. Stay tuned, the tournament will resume in a few minutes.

The rich became richer!

The chipleader after Day 2 Bryn Kenney in the second hand of the tournament has eliminated the player and scooped another 180 000. I didn't see preflop action but it ended with all-ins. Kenny showed pocket kings K:c K:s and his opponent was underdog with A:h J:c. Board J:h 9:d 3:c 5:h 4:h changed nothing and Kenny is sitting with almost 900 000.

All-in festival is running up!

After 25 minutes 10 players hit the rails already. All-in festival is running and it seams nothing can stop it until shortstacks are in the field.

PokerStrategists are calm yet. Oprega is sitting with Marius Pospiech at the table. Giuseppe and Dominik are active. As chipleaders they no doubt have to put the pressure on other players to build stacks and eliminate shorts. Both took down some small pot but nothing big has not happened yet. Stay tuned!

Folks, I have good news, Jan 'Jan1000' Collado is up to 250 000 after 2 hands. First it was pocket T-T against pocket 8-8 and after some preflop action and bet / call on flop players decided to checkdown and Jan scooped the pot. In the second hand, Jan eliminated a shortstack player from the tournament with K-T against pocket 2-2.

All-ins are all around. Now 92 players remain in the tournament.

PokerStrategists are moving up!

I have another good news for you. Our players are moving up and Dominik is chasing the chipleader. He's up now to over 700 000 after taking down a nice pot with pocket Q-Q against A-J. Finish coach Operga build his stack as well, after won one showdown and another hand without show, he's up over 400 000. Meanwhile Marius needed to double his stack up and he almost did it without seeing a one flop! He 3-bet two times all-in and scooped pots and one time he open raised all-in preflop and toot down blinds and antes.
