So i'm new to poker really, i thought i knew about it but i clearly didn't. And now i'm seeing stats around and have just installed poker copilot.
My question is, what kind of stats tell you what sort of player you're dealing with? I can work out whether that player is loose/tight etc but are there any rules of thumb for spotting fishy players and what do my stats tell me about myself?
Well... Usually the fishy players have a high VP$IP, and those that are overly passive, since most of the times they probably don't have anything.
You should look out for the very tight one's. If they suddenly after like 50 hands have like a 6% VP$IP and 3bet, then I think you should fold unless you have a premium hand.
At micro limits I guess you should concentrate on playing Tight-Aggressive, meaning picking out strong hands and then playing aggressively. Meaning Low VP$IP.
