I've been trying to interview Philbort and Kurganov for over a year now, I'm afraid the German super high rollers don't really like doing interviews on account of the fact that the player pools they play in are very small, so any answers they give would potentially give away a lot of information to their opponents.
Reinkemeier is a possibility though, I'll see if he wants to do one.

Good stuff!I love the audio interviews, can listen to while grinding etc. I know it must be way more work to do those compared to the written ones but i also think they're more valuable.

Awesome And what about Ole, Fabian, Martin Finger or Altergott? Hope Im not asking for too much, but these guys kinda came out of nowhere and are smashing all the high buyin tournies, so I think a lot of people would want to hear their story.

All of them, once again, do not want to do interviews. I have been planning a large feature about why German players are crushing it, in particular the super high rollers, but sadly they are all reluctant to do it.
I had a long chat with Igor Kurganov, who almost did one, and he explained he thought it was more profitable for him to stay under the radar. Although it sucks for me as a writer and you as a reader, I do admire the professional approach he adopted.
The latest interviewee is WPT champion and commentator Tony Dunst.
I always thought Tony was a bit cocky, but after meeting him he is a really nice down to earth guy, really enjoyed the interview.
We have one scheduled for later this week with an expert on physical tells which you should all really enjoy.
First interview of the year is with the incredibly talented comedy poker song producer SrslySirius to learn how he makes his videos, why he chooses the subject he picks and what the pros think of them.
