So, I am far from a good poker player, In Fact, I think recently I have realized I thought I was good but good players do not lose more than they win. So, I accept I am pretty average and need to step back and try to learn more about the game from scratch.
I am working on tight aggressive style mainly since it is easy to play according to experts and harder to mess up.
So, two questions
1- With this style if I am sitting at a live poker table (No online where I live) and I am getting no cards at all for the style over say a 2-to-3-hour period, then on top of it when i do get cards to play I either get out drawn, I start with jacks they have kings. it's just one of those days nothing is going right. How do most of you decide ok today is not the day and get up and leave? is it a certain amount of time you give yourself to heat up, is it a certain amount of money lost? a hand count?
2- Am I wasting my time trying to play tight aggressive when I can only play low limit like 1/2 NL, and it seems like nothing will get people off hands.
