Hello, just had an interesting hand, would like some comments whether I played it correctly:

0,25/0,5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.58 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A♠, Q♠
UTG+2 raises, MP1 folds, Hero 3-bets, 4 folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls.

UT+2 is a very loose player, raising anything out of position, so 3 bet him with aqs thinking I am ahead.

Flop: (9,40 SB) 8♠, Q♥, 7♣ (3 players)
BB bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls.

I flop top pair, raise the bet and he 3 bets me. Am I against a set?

Turn: (8,20 BB) 3♠ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn brings me a second spade. I have top pair and a flush draw now. Normally I would have called, but because of the flush draw, I raise it up.

River: (14,20 BB) 5♥ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Just call the river with top pair.

Final Pot: 16,20 BB

Poker Elephant doesn't show the opponent's hand. Well, you wouldn't guess it - 78 offsuit for two pairs :)

Hi aurs,

I like how you played the hand. Without the second spade i like a turn calldown here since we are in position and HU.

Hi aurs and welcome to our FL forum. :)

I like your thoughts. You seem to be a bit more experienced but I never saw you here before so I hope you like the time here and that you stay active with posting hands etc.. :)

As already mentioned your thought are good here and I can't add anything else. :)
