vs a normal opp, I would valuebet river ; he has a lot of Ax hands that can call but will not bet them

if he is rather aggreesive, I can live with XC

3bet Preflop is fine but on the Turn you can vary between check/call as he could raise with K9 KT KJ KQ Qx with Flushdraw 33 and Ax Flushes but on the other side if you bet you protect against hands like AT AJ and you get very often another call by 44 55 66 77. Hands that may checkback the Turn and if T or A appears he fold those hands to further action.

And in case you have AJ or AT you don't wanna bet but get to the River as cheap as possible and with medium pocketpairs you can balance your check/call to not make him able to easily valuebet each pair type of hand. And with 88 you don't have 2 good valuebets because if he calls he's got most likely Qx and less likely AJ or 55. But on the other hand you can also protect against J9s and JT. Hands he will certainly checkback with if you check, expecting you to c/c Ax. On the Turn it's close between bet and check/call

On the River it's not a big mistake to check/call against his busted Draws like JT but i don't think he will bet AT and AJ and neither the small Pocketpairs or A3 so i would bet myself and hope to get called by a weaker hand because his busted hands have showdownvalue unless he's got JT. SO he should not bet AT AJ but check them back. Bluffinduce doesn't gain that much. He may do some unreasonable though. It's lowstakes. People are just too crazy there
