Should I raise this turn? BU is a sorta loose passive player pf and fairly agg post flop. BB is just loose passive... I hadnt seen BU go this agg in any other hand though, so I wasnt sure if a fd was in his range, but I felt it possible, but a set or a 2pair or a really strong K perhaps, AK, KQ seemed more likely. So I just called down here... :f_grin:

Either checkraise the Turn but i'd take the safe line and donk out on the Turn. For the reason that he doesn't have many strong hands on K62 unless K6 22 66 but frequently he'd call the Flop and slowplay somehow. The fact that you don't have to protect against the flushdraws makes it less necessary to donk out but i like a donkbet for certain reasons:

- you prevent him from taking a freecard with either a weak king or a flushdraw

- you make him calling down with Kx that he might fold to a checkraise

Checkraise Turn kind of overrepresents your hands. It means that normally A4 doesn't deserve to be checkraised as competent opponent won't pay off with enough worse hands but i certainly don't mind checkraising but check/calling is too weak :). Donking and Checkraising are both valid plays but i'd rather prefer checkraising over donking with a read that BU is kind of aggressive and is likely not only to bet but also likely be paying off checkraises liberally. e.G. with K5 etc.

Interesting hand. K62 board... often when villain jams this flop his value range is really strong. He just called pre, so we might be up against ~KJ, K6s, K2s, 66, 22.

I would not have 3-bet the flop. He's already quite polarized on this dry board and we have marginal SD value. There aren't many scenarios where we fail to improve but nevertheless get our opponent to fold hands that were better than ours on the flop.

Flush draws are available, and his cc preflop leads us to speculate about suited connectors and 1 gappers (76s,97s-QJs,QTs, KJ/KTs) more often than hands like 73:diamond:. Thats 12 combos of FD's that usually raise the flop.

But lets focus on his value range because thats the range we'll be putting in a bet against on the river if we raise the turn. When we consider his value range I still think thats 3 combos we're crushing and roughly 12 combos which we have equity against but are far behind.

He'll have some draws but not many. Not everyone plays cap flop with just a FD. Two of his FD's hit TP (KJ/KT). I would guess that less than 20% of players will cap a bare flush draw IP and barrel the turn. So at the upper end, we can give him 2 of the remaining 10 FD combos.

So 5 hands are crushed, 12 have us crushed. We are still far behind our opponents range and should not raise for value.

I dont remember the player any more actually, but aggressive post flop seems correct, and i managed to get his stats and he is 54/5/3 vpip/pfr/3b... its possible for him to have K6o in his range, and also alot of fd, plus all Kxs diamonds which he actually might call down with...

i'd basically agree with datsmanahme but you described BU as an very agg player postflop so i thought he could be playing a bare fd and even any Kx this way.

you know, jamming the flop seems way more reasonable when i notice we're 3 ways.

multiway we can value jam a FD imo. personally i like better it in position because sometimes we can take a free card.

sorry for not noticing 3 way :)
