Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls

Results: 9 BB pot (0.3 BB rake)
Final Board: 2 5 6 5 8

no reads but 70/3/0 ish stats. should i raise river ?

On the river raise is possible. I would raise unless my opponent is so passive on the river ( low aggression factor or knowing he is a nit :f_biggrin: ). If he is unknown, than just raise. He can raise you here with 8x or worst 5. Question is if we can fold to a cap, but i think we cant vs unknown / recreational player.

No, why would he raise two pairs or worse OTR? Pocket overpair and worse trips are also unlikely due to previous lack of action. If he is bluffing he'll just fold to a raise. Still you might catch a stupidly played 86 or A8 and the like with a raise, but that requires a terrible opponent.

fish doesn t seem to be the guys, hwo is raising 8x now. Therefore I think you should give him a discounted range of 5x and all 74, 97 and ádd some % of FH like 88,66 etc. and some low % of Overpairs and mabye some discounted strong 8x. I assume it will be pretty close, so EV of calling and raising should run very close I think.

btw. what did he have? I assume a weaker 5x, because otherwise you wouldn t have posted the hand.
