Just bet flop.Protection is very relavant and I think a lot of player missunderstand it.
Protection has 2 sides:1-you force them to make incorect folds
2-you let them make incorect calls

So... when you say they will call regardless this is perfect spot to let them make bad calls with something like Ax,or T8,J8,...Since these guys are quite SDbound I would always bet here with Qx,9x or good draws.

On the turn its a must bet.Now the board got really drawheavy and there is a whole bunch of hands that will call you.Now they really will make a mistake when they call draws(even OESD has hard time calling getting 1:2,7)

Same is river.They show extreme weakness and there is no reason to assume you are not ahead so bet for value.

Cheers fellas - as a beginner I find that I get stuck trying think about "the right strategy" (what did I read in the artcles etc.) whilst playing.

Without position or initiative I think it's quite easy to tell yourself it's up to them to act, because you've read that donking is bad.

It's only after the hand that you realise you missed out on a great value hand; head butting the table until your teeth fall out.

playing the micros you just have to think about one thing...VALEU betting,Value betting.... you can totally forget about being tricky or slowplaying and you will be a great winner here.
