Yes you flop 2 pair but don't go nuts, the board is heavily co�rdinated and has a 2 flushdraw on it, not a good board for 2 pair. The cap flop is good it kicked the button and you still may have the best hand. Because of your cap flop, the coordinated board and MP2 keeps firing I would slow down and calldown.

First of all, Q9s aren't to strong against a preflop raiser, so why the 3bet? A typical situation of "whoops, wrong button" or did you have a reasoning?

You're flop raise is fine, his 3bet is scary though, I'd call down from there on, the pot is pretty good (even if you wouldn't 3 bet the flop ), and 2pair is pretty strong. Even though you hit your fourth clubs on the turn I'd still only call here and raise the river if the fifth falls.

Take note of the damn scary board, good straight possibility, and the river also brings the third spade, not the type of board I'd want to play too aggressively against an opponent showing strenght with 2pair and a backdoor flush.

I was making this post when Shy posted his, I missed the button calling after the raise, so that indeed makes the flop cap good (though I wouldn't if there weren't players behind anymore, make note of the importance of raising when there are players still to act behind you :)).

Like ShyPh said, the 3bet preflop is to aggressive. Q9s is to marginal.
Capping flop might be ok, but as MP2 bets the turn again I would call down. I faer that he already made his straight.

Thanks guys...I see, SHC tells me RAISE 0, so I certainly mustn't raise if some does before..!!!

you can either call it reraise or 3bet.
The hierarchy of betting is: bet , raise,3-bet, cap. It�s easier to recognize what a player is doing as the cap is also a reraise.

I posted ALOT of hands. It's a good way to improve, but not the best. You should spend alot of time reading articles and books to try and get your play where you want it. Playing poker and posting hands won't get you there.

It is great that you post your doubtful hands.
But in order to help you, it is necessary that you read the articles to understand the basic concepts of playing poker.
As ShyPh said above, only posting your hands will help you reduce mistakes, but reading books and the articles on the forum will increase your knowledge.

In my opinion you should split up your poker session into at LEAST 1/3 of theory and the rest playing poker.

For further question, post into the beginner section questions and discussions.
