you should almost never coldcall on preflop,reraise with such a hand that has equity edge against other hands involved!

It would than be a complete different scenario. You would have initiative and would take aggresion on flop,where i think you made another mistake just calling,cuz board is draw heavy and you need protection.

Coldcalling is a mistake in that situation. According to the chart AK belongs to the monster hands and you should always reraise with AK, no matter where the initial raise came from and what happened before. You have situations where , lets say 2-3 players got already involved in the pot and you have a hand like Q♠J♠ in later Position. You can coldcall but when just 1 guy raised before your and the pot is already kind of small and you can't justify coldcalling by the pot odds your hand is either strong enough for reraising or just too weak to become a part of the hand.

And on the Flop you've hit toppair with top Kicker. Protection means that you want your remaining opponents to lay down their hand and to fold their equity. In that situation you have and equity-advantage over your opponents and by raising and getting them off you'll get the biggest part of your opponents equity when they e.g. fold a hand like J9 for a gutshot or a hand they would or could call for 1SB but they are not supposed to call for 2SB. By shooting them out your relative Equity advantage gets bigger!

As played it's an easy calldown but on that river where the Flush and AJ came in there is no reason for raising and maybe you were lucky and saved money but next time reraise Preflop and raise Flop. Don't be too shy and claim the value you deserve!
