x/c x/r with two pair HU

Preflop: Hero is BB with T K
UTG raises, 4 folds, Hero calls

Flop: (4.5 SB) K T Q (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls

Turn: (3.3 BB) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls

River: (9.3 BB) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls

So, this guy was like an aggro monkey, 2nd barreling always and such (AFq ~62), so i decided to x/c x/r with my double pair unless a Jack came on the turn. What do you think about that? In my opinion, a x/r on the flop could be quite expensive in some spots if bad cards come turn and river, and given i was quite sure i could x/r him on the turn, i decided to wait.

The guy is like a 54/20 AFq~62

Also, the call on the river, is it standard enough? He bet every opportunity he had, but again, his AFq is 62...

You should checkraise the Flop immmidiately and not wait for the turn. Especially if you say his a monkey who's used to overplay his hands and your hand is actually strong enough to play bet/3bet turn against him and if he's aggressive and openraises way too much, he may have some small Ax combinations in his hand that he's going to check behind on the turn. Alternatively he's checking back a pocketpair that he's willing to call down on a checkraise flop. OOP with vulnerable hands and with the option to play bet/3bet turn, i'd always checkraise the Flop. It's not a big mistake to checkraise the Turn but your hand just looks very strong by doing that and looks less strong if you checkraise the Flop.

other than that i have told you to c/r flop and not wait till turn. horrible board imo to wait till turn. we are OOP too which should make us c/r flop more weren't you the one who said that to me I heard it from KPR16 today aswell though. So yeah.
