You did right.
Most of the time the villain would have a flush, a Q5, 65 or 75 fullhouse or a straight or even air.
Quads are rare to be considered on your level.

Its just one of those things really. Your right I didn't for one second even think that he would have had quads, I was calling all day long.

Hello,

I'm dipping into cash games a little and taking a small break from the SNG circuit. This is how I would play the hand on each street.

Preflop: good

flop: I'd bet 7-8 here, a lot of q-x is going to call here and middle or even third pair may peel one so betting a little more we can extract some more value.

turn: A lot of two pair potential when the 7 hit and it also opens up a lot of draws too which gives our opponent more equity in the hand. With this being said, I'd bet more on the turn like 18-20 seems good.

River: IMO, I believe the blocker bet is fine here, there are a lot of two pair hands and q-x will call us and if we check and he bets then the hard decision is over to us.

Against this all in, it looks like a fold here because he's either bluffing or he's not, there's no inbetween and I most of the time I don't think players at this level will turn two pairs and 1 pair into bluffs.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,
Maythany
