Only reason to raise in those spots is the reason that he has high W$SD. Myself I wouldn't really be a huge fan of it but rather just take the implied odds and reevaluate further actions vs unknown.

And well, practically if you plan to raise against those stacks in those spots then it also means that you are planning to go broke. For example we would need ~32% equity rake included. Try to put him on a range and see if you get it.
