"Buggered if I know"

I seem to vacillate between betting my draws (then barrel/ck turn) and trying to make my draws cheap.
Seems to be session length/success/villain dependent. I start out all by the book, and sometimes degenerate into a weak nit, or Gung Ho fool.

with a draw as strong as this i don't think it's terrible to check back flop, but you simply have a draw. draws profit when people fold, made hands profit when people call with worse. the reason why i think it's ok to check back flop is because our draw is so strong that we will hit quite frequently (~40% from flop-river). weaker draw==bet for sure. anyway, as played you miss on the turn and now you should start bluffing against his weakness. if you don't stab here then what are you stabbing? i think it's besides the point but if he just calls turn we could even consider overbetting river.

it looks here like you didn't consider his range. what do you think about it here?

I was thinking he has an ace which beats me, pair or paint. He will let me know if he hits. The pot is very small.
On the river, I was thinking mostly about the morality of slow play, and why worse play is the only reason I am ahead

I wouldn't minraise from the CO preflop on this limit and I would cbet flop and turn. If he is a morron, then I would definitelly slowroll him on the river. :badteeth:
