I think preflop, flop and turn was standard.
Now, on river I want to know if this is always a check/fold against a bet, or if it's possible to do a blocking bet and fold to a raise, or check/call sometimes to induce bluffs?
Because the problem I see on checking these boards on the river is that we can easily get bluffed if villain is decent.
In this hand in particular I called on river because I thought that sizing was more bluff prone than value prone.
Because most of the times I value bet with 1/2 half pot or even 1/3 pot on similar rivers to get paid.
He didn't know how strong I was and if I was able to call that big bet on the river.
Now, most likely he was just betting his hand big for value and not thinking about anything else.
So most likely I would have folded there if I saw a 1/2 pot or 1/3 pot bet.
