Villain is a regular.
I think, preflop and flop was standard.
Then 90% of the time I would bet this turn to get value from my straight.
But this time I decided to mix it up and play it tricky to induce a bluff on the river.
I thought it was the way to get max value, because I thought most hands would easily fold on the turn if I bet.
But now, in retrospect, if I know he had a set there I would never give him a free card, because he had at least 20% equity against me and I would defend my straight.
So is this a losing play or you can do it sometimes to induce bluffs from agros?
