Bad Tricky Play?

The check on the turn is okay in my opinion, the jack card is a awful card for you, as when he 3 bets he holds all the AK, KK, QQ, and maybe AQ combos, yes you have a king blocker. But his 3 bet range from BB crushers your calling range from BNT. If villain bets turn you are calling him down even on a blank river, it is somewhat of a cooler. KcJc maybe a little wide for a call against a reg, but you do have position and the 3 bets was 3.2x i believe.

as for your question with the agrro, it is fine as villain only has a 1/2 pot bet left. but as you can see if the board paired or a spade comes you need to be able to get away from hand... Its a tough fold on river anyway you look at it.

I'm not going to go into the pre-flop call. If he's been 3betting you a lot I don't mind calling I guess as your hand has good flop potential, the problem with a hand like KJ is that it's easily dominated in a 3bet pot.

Turn: I'm not happy with that J to the board but I'm jamming here. If villain is a reg as you say imo he's got very very few AK combo's in his range. He could have AsKs but he should've folded all other AK combo's vs your flop raise. Considering there shouldn't be too many AK combo's in villains range we've almost always still have the best hand on the turn (or we're at least splitting vs Kx hands) AND villain only has about a 56% pot bet behind.

Tough to get away with a straight, but most of the time i would go broke on the turn.
You want to protect your hand against a draw. The only logic hand you lose now is A♠:K♠:, but that's also a hand that could shove the flop.

I agree with previous comments. Villain can have 2 pair, trips / flush draws that we still want to charge and not give free equity.
KJs is fine to call pre-flop.
