Hi,

When I floped top pair with AK and 2 callers I bet only 1/2 pot to keep them in. one called, the other folded. Was this wrong? or just a bad beat?

thanks, R

I don't think 1/2 pot is too bad.

You had TPTK against a rainbow board with an unlikely straight draw (unlikely that anyone will hit on the turn to improve to a hand that beats yours) so you may as well try to draw as much money out as you can.

Hi Ratinha,

Playing it this way is okay but if u shove directly , you are pretty sure you played well as mathematically speaking, you give them the odds to call.

The river is a bad beat , no worries :)!
