well played, but on the river I would have bet 2/3 of pot, he would called that IMO

Bet on turn, board has straight and flush draw, so better not to slowplay trips here.

Bet/3-bet on the turn is better, since a check-raise has less value in it here. You have a strong hand on the turn.
