Why u reraise to 7 ?

Instant all-in here i think.

I 3bet to $5 or push tbh. Raising to $7 is just awkward. If i raise to $5 i call a 4bet, but this raise allows me to raise to $5 and fold with some worse hands If villain steals 2BB a lot.

I guess $5 doesn't seem like a scary reraise, whereas $7 does - I want him to know I mean business at least. I thought $7 just because it's 3x the raise and then a little extra for out of position. But on the other hand I actually like the idea of making it $5 so that I can resteal with more hands (since I can fold).. he had KK by the way.

If this is SSS, you must fold AQ if you face a raise!

If you consider de min-raise as 2 limps, then you should have raised to 8$

MancaMulas, please stop evaluating hands which are played at nl100 or above.

It's just annoying to read your advice which everybody can reread at the basic strategy section.
You will not be winning player with basic strategy at nl100+.

MancaMulas, stats dictate how to act against a raise, because they determine what equity your hand has against their range. In this case, besides his 22% steal from CO, AQs is usually a decent hand to defend your blinds from steal attempts (unless his stats show him to be a super super tight player)

it's kinda rule to always resteal with a push, because if you decide to raise you are commited anyway to a 4-bet or on the flop, so pushing is better. You could also raise super small as DaPhunk said, so you don't commit yourself, but I'm not fond of such small bets, at least not on NL100.

As played, yep, you commited yourself and have to go broke here and even if you didn't I would still go broke with AQs.

@ Manca: Maybe it's better if you only observe NL100+ hands, because as Padde said basic strategy wouldn't suffice on these limts. But it's good to watch those hands so you can learn new things that can't be found in the bronze articles so you can improve your game. As for here... ...when CO or BU openraises you can push all-in with AJ+/88+ when you are sitting in the blinds, that's quite a basic play and you can also implement it on your limit.
