NL5 rush, no stats

SB - $10.70
MP2 - $6.22 - Hero
CO - $5.09

Dealt to Hero: K :club:K
3 folds, Hero raises to 0.17, MP3 folds, CO calls, BU folds, SB calls, BB folds

Flop: 8 :club:T :heart:T :spade: (pot 0.56)
SB checks, Hero bets 0.30, CO folds, SB calls

Turn: 5  (pot 1.16)
SB checks, Hero bets 0.60, SB raises to 1.20, Hero calls

River: Q :diamond: (pot 3.56)
SB bets 3.56, Hero calls

I have seen this set line too often at NL5 rush plus betting pot at river is suspiciously too much for value extraction. Is calling profitable or its better to give up on turn or on river or 3bet/fold turn?

Up until the turn it is standard enough. On the turn we are either way ahead (against a worse pair, or a draw) or way behind (a set). So when he checks to us i would check behind for pot controll, and call a bet on the river, if it is not too large. If he does not bet the river i would probably consider myself ahead and bet about half the pot

Hi YourDoom!

You can expect be on turn to Tx hand most of the time as villain will be honest in multiway pot.

On river as well J9 completed str8 and you should fold to the bet here.
