As played I guess I should have raised more on the flop but would calling possibly been a better move rather than isolating the short stack here?

Hi scottnot!

I think the raise size on the flop is fine. There is a flush draw which means you have to protect your hand. If you just call you are giving your opponents the right odds to call with a flush draw.
