BB: $5 (100 bb)
UTG: $7.63 (152.6 bb) 34/4/fld cbet oop 0(5)/pf agg 0.4/hands 53
MP: $5.98 (119.6 bb)
CO: $4.47 (89.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $10.12 (202.4 bb)
SB: $5.07 (101.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A♦ T♦
UTG calls $0.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.47) 8♥ 6♠ 4♣ (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.25, UTG calls $0.25

on this flop against him we could skip the cbet? I think i get some folds + i plan to barrel scare cards. The only problem is that i dont have back doors.

Turn: ($0.97) Q♥ (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.60, UTG calls $0.60

River: ($2.17) Q♦ (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks

I would check the flop for reasons already mentioned by you.

As played, bluff the turn scare card and give up river when the board pairs (less credible to rep the Q now)

Hero started with a strong hand his preflop equity 64.60%. On the flop Hero's equity drop to 47.37%. I would play this the same way as Hero, there was a slim chance to improve the hand on the Turn or River. Hero played the game just fine.

Well just because you have close to 50% equity doesn't make betting better. Hero could check flop and call blank turns for example which is what I would do on a pairing card.

I also agree on that point that it doesn't make betting better. My point of view was if Hero check on the flop then his opponent might of raised him out from the flop and Hero would lose the chance for a free card on the River. As its happen to me quite a lot of time. Thanks for your response.
