Hello guys,

quitting zoom and playing regular tables seems to be great to me, because such hand would not be played at zoom....

My thoughts to the hand:
Standard open from CO => call that minraise because of price and playbility
Flop is really nice, i have a FD and still a week midpair. So contibet with 2/3 pot for value and protection.... (would be nice to see villain fold here)
Turn brings me some small additional value, because i have a gutshot now and still second pair
Villain bets very small and i can call that eaysily.
River is really nice for me, because of making the straight and having the nuts and villain is so kind to shove....

Questions to you: Which hand is he shoving here? Does any holding make sense to shove from villains perspective?

Thanks for leaving a comment.
Please guess a hand and try to express why villain has this hand.
I will post the whole hand when i get some answers.

Seems fishy since preflop lol.
I'd like to play but I don't have a clue, he can have anything from KK to air.

I would like to see a free card OTF. He was the agressor and checked the flop. Pot control right here with your mid pair and flushdraw.
I think turn could be a raise tbh. You have a straight and flushdraw and can improve even with an 8.
River is an easy call. Did he have 97?

Call it.
Its vague maybe, two pairs, set, top pair.
If he happens to have a higher straight than yours (79). Just consider it a loan lol

Preflop? To small 3-bet with PP, maybe AA, KK, AK. Best to call or raise bigger!
Flop! Your Half pot C-bet will often be calld! Absolut with draws! No AA, KK, AK will be just calld on that Flop.
Turn! Stop- bet for to set price to see River! "vill" should have an easy fold if you 3-bet herr!
River! Hit draw! And you dont have the Nuts! 7-9 is the Nuts!
Thre alternativ "vill" is a mega fish or you lose or chop the pot!
