Set difficulty.

It seems to me that I have issues with getting villains all in when I caught sets. What do most do. Slow play, c-bet, pot it. What is your strategy ? Thanks for the info.

Hi

Really depends on the villain, boardtextures, positions etc.
If the board is dry -> slowplay, if it's wet -> play it fast.
If the villain is aggro -> let him bet, if he's passive we take the lead.

Also not every set has to go alllin, you have to think with what hands he would call you down vs certain sizings.

Well, as said above, it depends on different factors.
The first you should know is that you cannot stack villain with every set you hit!
On micro limits it is perfectly fine to play sets straightforward. If villain has a hand, he will come along anyway.

I also had a lot of times to fold Sets on drawy boards and action by villain....don't auto-all-in with sets
